Stored in high quality sleeves made from 100% archival materials, acid free and ultra strong. All the prints are placed in these and then stored flat in our storage areas both on and off site.

WHAT IS AN ARTISTS PROOF?

Occasionally you may come across a print that has the letters “AP” instead of an edition number. AP means that copy is an artist's proof - this is a proof that was printed before the numbered copies of the edition. AP copies are often retained by the artist to give to friends and family. They are usually signed, and will often have a number to indicate how many Artists’ Proofs were created. Some collectors prefer to obtain artist's proof copies as these can be more interesting and are rare in comparison to the numbered copies. If they are inscribed with a message or dedicated by the artist they can also be very collectable and as such, more expensive.

WHAT IS AN EDITION?

Each series of prints made is called an “edition” and usually each print in the edition is marked with a number to indicate how many were produced. If a print is marked as a “Limited Edition” then there should only be one run of it at a fixed quantity and as soon as that number has been made, the plate will be destroyed. This means that the print can never be made again and this action ensures the value of the existing works.

HOW DO I KNOW I'M NOT BUYING A FAKE?

At Red Propeller we work very closely with all our artists and we can guarantee that ALL work comes directly from the artist and is 100% genuine and authentic. All original artworks purchased through Red Propeller come with a Red Propeller invoice and Certificate of Authentication. All prints are published in-house by Red Propeller and again, come with a Red Propeller Invoice and Certificate of Authentication.

PAYING ONLINE - IS IT SECURE?

All our orders are processed securely through Paypal or Stripe. We also accept all major credit and debit cards through the Paypal System.

when will i receive my artwork?

At Red Propeller we aim to process and send out your orders within three working days of your order being placed.  We use a first class tracked and signed for service on all shipments - arriving the day after despatch in UK and delivery times outside UK vary depending on location but usually within 14 days maximum.

The art market, like the stock market, is flexible with prices going both up and down. Consequently this is reflected in the current price of an artists work. If a print edition sells out it is not unusual for prices to rise on other print editions available from that artist as their work becomes more highly sought after.

CAN I COLLECT ARTWORK FROM YOU?

Yes, please contact the gallery to discuss this. If artwork you have viewed online inspires and excites you but you understandably wish see the artwork before you hit checkout, please get in touch with us and arrange to visit. Alternatively our specialist art courier will deliver in the UK and if when the artwork arrives it's not quite as you expected, our courier will simply load it back on to the van and a full refund will be issued - easy!
